SCHOLARSHIP

WINNERS

The vision of the St. Clair Shores Community Chorus is to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors in support of furthering their education.
 
Any high school senior with an interest and demonstrated singing talent. All are welcome to audition. You DO NOT need to be a resident of St. Clair Shores.

2018-2019

First Place, $1200 - Marisa Hochberg is a graduating senior from Fraser High School and will be attending Macomb Community College.  She has strong interests in the LAPD and would like to pursue a career in forensic/crime scene investigation.

 

Second Place, $1000 - Allison Glentzer is home schooled and will be attending Macomb Community College. She hopes to become fluent in at least 2 romance languages and pursue a career using her language skills to help provide aid for immigrants unsure of our customs.

 

Third Place, $800 - Chad Bishoff is a graduating senior from Fraser High School.  He plans to major in Music Education at Central Michigan University and aspires to become a high school band director.

 

St. Clair Shores Community Chorus Music Major Scholarship, $1000 – Andrew Montano is a sophomore at Macomb Community College and is President of the Macombers Show Choir. He plans to transfer to Wayne State University pursuing a major in Vocal Performance.  He is hoping to continue in the path of music and media arts because he wants to use that as a way to make people smile.
